Leeward Islands took on Trinadad and Tobago in a Zone A clash. The former batted first and made a healthy 161/7 in their 20 overs. T&T were struggling in the chase and were reduced to 82/5 in over no.14.
Enter Keiron Pollard.Equation – 80 runs 41 balls 5 wickets.
A blitzkrieg followed and the match was over in the next 35 balls. Pollard made 53 in 20 deliveries, a knock that included just one four.
How come ?? You might wonder.
It was because he also hit 7 sixes!!
T&T now have 8 points from 2 games and are looking strong and dangerous! Watch out the others! The Pollard bomb has just exploded!!
Great. But one Mr. Viv Richards doesn’t count Pollard as a cricketer.
Michael Holding said that 🙂 … dats his opinion..haha…but hes an asset to any t20 side
