Guyana beat Barbados in the finals and are on their way to the ACLt20 in South Africa. They prevailed in a low scoring thriller.
Barbados made a cautious and a competitive 134/5 in their 20 overs. It is these kinda totals that make chasing difficult and the team batting second is at all points of the chase, in a state of indecisiveness. Guyana almost paid the price for it but managed to just get their nose over the line, just in time with a wicket and a ball to spare.
What an amazing conclusion to an exciting tournament.
In the third place play off, T&T made light work of Jamaica beating them by ten wickets.
Guyana will now join Group B in ACLt20 along with the Mumbai Indians, Lions, Redbacks and RCB.
Just can’t wait for the action to begin!!
